Ellie Lawton is from Preston, Maryland, and began playing lacrosse in third grade. She played club lacrosse for LBC, now known as M&D Shore, and was a four-year varsity starter at North Caroline High School. Ellie recently graduated from UMBC with a B.A. in Media and Communication Studies and a minor in Psychology. During her time at UMBC, she played Division I lacrosse, appearing in 51 games with 48 starts. She recorded 55 ground balls and 29 caused turnovers as a key part of the defensive unit.
