Kayonna grew up in Cooksville, Maryland, where she began playing lacrosse at a young age. She played for Hoco Women’s Lacrosse from 2014 to 2016 before finishing out her club career with M&D 2021 Red as a midfielder from 2017 to 2021. She attended Glenelg High School, where she played for 2 years. She continued her career at McDaniel College, where she was a three-year starter on defense and a two-time All-Conference nominee in the Centennial Conference. A recent graduate of McDaniel, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and plans to begin working as a medical assistant before continuing her education in nursing school.
