Molly Wolf :
Molly Wolf has coached all levels of lacrosse, from youth to professional. She is a Baltimore native, who attended The Bryn Mawr School and was named a three-time Under Armour All-American and USA Lacrosse High School All-American before becoming a four-year starter at Loyola University Maryland.
While at Loyola, she was named a Division I Third Team All-American, a two-time All-Patriot League selection, and the Patriot League Tournament MVP, ultimately ranking 4th on Loyola's all-time career saves record.
Following her collegiate career, Molly continued her playing career internationally for the Brighton Bombers in Australia, earning two MVP awards, and professionally in the United States with the Upstate Pride (WPLL) and with Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse.
Molly currently serves as Associate Athletic Director and Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at her high school alma mater The Bryn Mawr School, and serves as the Assistant Coach for the New York Charging in the Women's Lacrosse League. Additionally, Molly is a National Director for Trilogy Lacrosse. She loves the connections she makes coaching, growing the game she loves, and inspiring the next generation of players.
Sarah Biron :
Sarah Biron is excited for her next steps coaching M&D 2036! Sarah attended High School in Boston at Westwood High School. During her time with the Wolverines she was recognized as the top high school girls’ lacrosse player in Massachusetts by ESPN Boston. She also was a four time Tri-Valley League All-Star, names Boston Globe Player of the Year, Tri-Valley League MVP and US Lacrosse Northeastern Player of the Year.
Sarah continued her lacrosse career at Johns Hopkins University at a two-way midfielder. While there, she played in all 18 games in her rookie season.
Previously, Sarah coached MassElite from 2011-2017 and TLC Red from 2019-2026. She currently coaches the Maryland Select 2030 team and is the assistant lacrosse coach at Notre Dame Prep since 2019.
Liz McAbee :
Liz McAbee (Peregoy) is a 2007 graduate from Loyola University Maryland. She played four years of Loyola women’s varsity lacrosse (2003-2007). She was nominated as senior captain and played defensive midfield. During her time there she lead the team in draw controls, caused turnovers and ground balls.
Post collegiate Liz officiated girls lacrosse, coached club lacrosse, coached at several collegiate camps and held individual lacrosse lessons.
Currently, Coach Liz is the M&D Prep Training coach and runs clinics for 2036-2038s to ready youth athletes for club and rec lacrosse.
Kayleigh Scharff :
Kayleigh played high school lacrosse at Severn before beginning her collegiate career at Quinnipiac University. Following an injury, she transferred to University of Maryland, where she continued competing on the club lacrosse team.
She began her coaching career at Severn, serving as an assistant coach for the JV team during the 2015–2016 season and as an assistant varsity coach during the 2016–2017 season.
In 2019, she joined M&D Lacrosse as an assistant coach for the M&D 2020 Black team before becoming head coach of the M&D 2030 Black team, a role she held from 2019 through 2025. She also served as an assistant coach for the JV lacrosse team at St. Paul's School for Girls during the 2022 season.
Matt Haley :
Matt Haley has over 20 years of experience coaching high school lacrosse. He started his coaching career at his high school alma mater, St Marys Ryken, in Leonardtown, MD, before moving into an assistant coach role at Mt Hebron High School in Ellicott City for the last 15 years.
In his time at Ryken and Mt Hebron, he has helped lead teams to the WCAC Championship,Howard County Championship, two regional championships, and two state finals appearances. He was also named USA Lacrosse Assistance Coach of the Year. He’s incredibly proud of the accomplishments of the players he’s coached, including 8 USA Lacrosse All Americans, 7 USA Lacrosse Academic All Americans, 60+ All County and All Conference Players, and over 40 players who’ve gone on to play at the collegiate level.
